It is that time of the month when we explore the Paper Pumpkin Possibilities for our kits by hopping along with these talented demonstrators to see what alternates they have created!

This month’s kit was titled World’s Greatest and as always, I made one of each of the kit’s designs.
When I first opened the kit, the stamp set was upside down and so the ribbon looked like a milk jug to me. Then I realized it was the ribbon for the medal. And it still looked like a milk jug…so I made it a milk jug! 🙂
I really love how it turned out!! How about you?
I used one of the white cards and sponged it with the Mint Macaron and Bumblebee to tie it into the negative that I used as my frame. I also sponged the frame more to make the colors softer. I used the edges of the dimensionals to adhere the frame to the card. I used the Sprig punch to punch out some of the gold paper and then I sponged the vellum leaves and berries with Mint Macaron and Blackberry Bliss. I stamped the jug in Soft Suede and fussy cut it out. I used dimensionals for the jug and glue dots for the leaves and branches and for the linen bow on the front of the milk jug.

It is time for the Inspire, Create, and Share Blog Hop! Wait, what? It’s not the first Tuesday of the month…it’s the second. Yeppers, we changed it to the second Tuesday of the month…so let’s get going!
This month we are showcasing Punches! This is a fun one for me because I challenged myself to not use a stamp set and punch bundle, of which there are quite a few, but to instead focus on many of our un-bundled punches. I had so much fun, I ended up making 3 cards!
For my first card I was inspired by another of our demonstrators (now I can’t remember who it was, so sorry!) a while back and had CASEd her card back then. I have a cat crazy friend that I wanted to send a bright cheery card to, so I thought I would do a different take on that other one. I’m loving this card and I know my friend will too!
I punched out 1 1/2″ and 2″ circles in Real Red, Granny Apple Green, Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay, and Pacific Point. I wanted bright cheery colors for this card, can you tell? Then I punched out the cats in black so they would stand out on bright colors while playing peek-a-boo! I used my Stampin’ Blends to color the pearls to fill in the white spaces. The base is Basic Black cardstock and the circles are on Whisper White cardstock. Anything that hung over the edge, I snipped off with my Paper Snips. Then I cut the tail off of one of the cats to stick behind the sentiment. Cute, huh?
I used the Well Written dies for my sentiment because I really wanted to use my new Stampin’ Cut & Embossing machine that had just been delivered by the UPS guy! Plus, I really do miss her!

On my second card I used the small bloom punch. Since the stamp set I had for it is no longer current, I used my Take Your Pick tool and the embossing ball end to give these flowers some texture and lift. I ran the ball around the center of the flowers and then also drew lines out to the petals. This gave them texture and circling in the center gave the petals lift. I then cut the Granny Apple Green flower into sections to use as leaves. I also added Mango Melody because I needed a yellow to brighten things up even more! I like that it is an orangy-yellow…it was perfect! Don’t you think? I used the Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets for the centers. I used the Everyday Label for the sentiment and punched it out in Whisper White and Granny Apple Green. I cut the green one in half and pulled it apart to adhere it behind the white one. Same sentiment…just because it was easy and that is how I am feeling about my friends back in AZ.

This last card was pretty exciting to make. I have been wanting to do this for a long time! The Tailored Tag punch is one of my favorite sentiment punches! I use it the most! I have seen other people make cards like this and this Punch Me Out theme was perfect for finally doing it!
As you can see, I punched out a bunch in all the colors that I had been working with on the other cards. After I got them all where I wanted them I snipped them off looking from the back. I used the snipped off pieces to fill in the other white spaces. It was fun and I can see more of them in my future!
I also used the Balloon Bouquet punch for the Gorgeous Grape balloons! They were needed! I tied them with Linen Thread and then tied the 3 into a knot, tied a bow around the knot and used a glue dot to hold it in place. I used the the Well Written dies again for this card.
THAT WAS FUN!! I challenge you to use your punches to see what you can create! These 3 cards are now going to be a card class because they were easy and fun and everyone likes bright cheery cards!

I trust you all are doing well and hanging in there! School is getting ready to begin around the country, so hang on to your hats as we see how this turns out! Our theme this month is Favourite Bundles! Ooh, that is a tough one! There are so many amazing bundles in the catalog! I ended up going with one that I have been hooked on, and you have seen many different cards using it, since it came out as a suite in the Spring Mini! I just can’t get enough of it! Can you guess what it is? Yep, you guessed it…Painted Poppies and Peaceful Moments Bundles!
This time I found a very cool new style of box card…the Triple Cube Pop Up Box Card! It looks so very cool and I plan on making more of these and maybe even combining some ideas that I have rolling around in my head. I learned this from the wonderful Jan B in the UK. She always has such great videos! I’ll be typing out a tutorial because I’m using this for my Hostess Club next week. Let me know if you want one!

I’m having a super productive Saturday, so I thought I should just keep on going and get you another post of more of the cards I made with this month’s kit! It has really stirred up the creative juices in me this week!
Just in case you didn’t see the last post with my alternates and the original designs from the kit you can go check them out HERE! I shared what the kit was designed to make and I shared 3 of my alternates using embossing powders.
Now I am going share alternates I made using extras in the kit as well as using the bag as a card front. Fun, stuff…keep reading!
This first card I used one of the post cards as a back drop over a Whisper White cardstock base, and then I cut the front off the bag and ran it through the die cutting machine using the Stitched Rectangles to give it that finished edge. I stamped the fireworks stamp in Calypso Coral, Coastal Cabana, and then I used Blackberry Bliss and stamped it 2 times without re-inking it to give it a lighter shade. That is called ‘stamping off.’ I use that technique quite frequently! I also added some of the stars and used one of the sentiments on the label and then sponged the label with the Calypso Coral so that it wasn’t so white. I’m just not a fan of too much white! I stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy and used dimensionals.
In this next card I did something similar except that I stamped the sentiment right onto the white bag and used a smaller Stitched Rectangle die. I also stamped one of the lightening bugs in the corner and used dimensionals under the other 2 bugs. I put this all on a Blackberry Bliss cardstock base.
This 3rd card, I used a Blackberry Bliss card base and stamped the fireworks using tone on tone Calypso Coral ink and cardstock. Then I stamped the sentiment in Blackberry Bliss and used a ferris wheel cutout and used 3 stars from the kit. Simple and easy!
I don’t know if you have noticed that the 3 stars and 3 bugs on the cards create a triangle to draw your eye into the focal image or sentiment of the cards. It’s a little trick that many card makers use. Something you may want to keep in mind when making your own cards.
This last card is my favorite, I think…hard to say as I’m not sure I am done with this kit and making more alternates. hahaha!
First I took some Whisper White cardstock and my sponges out and sponged a sort of sunset. I went light with it, not wanting it to over power what was going on top. I used Night of Navy, Blackberry Bliss, Coastal Cabana, and Calypso Coral (that really is an awesome color combo!).
Then I stamped the fireworks and star burst all over the card in a variety of the colors. I adhered some of the paper stars and lightening bugs onto the cardstock and put the vellum ‘glass’ jar over them. I used dimensionals under the sentiment that I stamped in Blackberry Bliss. Easy-peasy and fun!
That’s all I have for now…time for bed! We’ll see what Sunday Funday brings! No working for me tomorrow…just playing in my studio!

I trust everyone is doing great and enjoying their summer! It is the end of July, so that means it is time for our Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop! Wahoo! If you are coming from Terri Takashige’s blog, thank you for hopping along!
We are all fans of this monthly crafting kit and want to share with you our enthusiasm for this box of fun and creativity. The beauty of the Paper Pumpkin kit is that you can follow the directions provided in the kit to make the projects as they were designed, or use the supplies as a starting point and let your creativity run wild. On this hop we will be sharing lots of ideas with you on how to use July’s kit Summer Nights…let’s get started!
I opened my box the other day and then set it aside while I went through a Mohs procedure on my face and arm. Today, I got down to business and now I can’t stop! There are a few more posts coming for this week with all the cards I created!

I found that I used the front of one of the bags more for a stencil than anything else! I wasn’t much into using the bag as bags, but we will see in the future, I still have 4 left.
I picked 3 of my alternate creations for this blog hop on which I used embossing powder to really boost these cards up a notch! I like how they turned out. What do you think?
For this one I used silver embossing powder for the fireworks after I used Versa Mark over the stencil from the bag front and on the stamp.
On this next card, I sponged the background using the color palate from the kit of Blackberry Bliss, Night of Navy, Coastal Cabana, and Calypso Coral (an amazing combination) and created more night time backgrounds in a sunset-ish fashion…
I also used the back of the bag and cut out an oval using the layering oval dies and then stamped on it and embossed with clear embossing powder over the Coastal Cabana ink. I used silver and white embossing powder for the stenciled fireworks on the background.
Then I used a lighter technique of sponging for the background on this next card and focused instead on making the fireworks darker. I also used black embossing powder on the sentiment to really make it stand out!
Putting vellum down is always tricky if you don’t have enough places to hide it, but I think it worked out well.

This month we are showcasing the new 2020-2022 In Colors! They are marvelous and bright! I have been using them quite a bit! Here are 2 cards we made for my Hostess Club last week! Since my stamps were still in a tub at the time we used the sentiments from the Covid19 Giveback download. Those are not going out of style anytime soon! Yippee!
Here are my 2 cards…I even caught the sun shining in my Creation Studio, so the colors don’t get anymore real than that! 🙂
I did 2 new techniques for these cards. The one on the right is the new craze called Scrappy Strips…that was fun and simple! Easier than I thought it was going to be! And the one on the left is stamping with rubber bands wrapped around a D block! That was cool! The bundle I am showcasing is the Peaceful Moments Bundle. It is a carryover from the Spring Mini.
I love this bundle and have become even more enamored of it because I saw my first poppies in person ever! I have a big patch of them in the middle of my new yard and 2 smaller patches on the side of the house! They were amazing to watch grow and bloom! The stamps and dies are truly realistic! Here are the poppies from my yard…

It was interesting to see the differences between the flowers from the different patches. One had the dark insides and 1 layer of petals…that’s my favorite…the big patch has some flowers with many layers of petals and other flowers just had one layer of petals. I fell in love with poppies for sure!!
Here is my version…
I used some Wink of Stella on the poppies to give them a little more pizzazz because I love them so much! 😉
I used a number of the inside layers to capture the depth of the real ones. I think I came pretty close!

It’s Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop time! WooHoo! I love my Paper Pumpkin! And this month we are showing you all kinds of ways to make alternates from the kit Box of Sunshine!
I kept it super simple this month since I am still unpacking! I know, I should be done, but sadly, there is always more than just my Creation Studio to work on! Plus, I am still doing my Online ESL teaching each morning!
Instead of doing a big box of sunshine to give away, I chose to use the Gold Mini Pizza Box and just give a few little treats inside, or a giant brownie! These pizza boxes are always fun since they are food safe. We have the same mail lady as before and she delivered my Paper Pumpkin to me before I even remembered to do my address change! So, I trust she is up for a brownie this week as a Thank you in this fun box!
I’ll make one of the cards as a Thank you card to let her know I appreciate that she did not send my Paper Pumpkin back like the last time I moved from Colorado!
That is it for me today. Short and sweet and back to setting up my new Stamp counter! Pictures will be forthcoming when I get the room done!

I trust you are all having a marvelous beginning to the Best Month of the Year!! (my name and birthday are June 😉 ) And to add to the awesomeness, it’s the first Wednesday of the month…Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop time…WooHoo!
This month we are introducing you to the new In Colors for 2020-2022!!
Aren’t these incredible colors?! So fun! Let’s get started using them! As you may know, as a demonstrator, when you are a demonstrator you get to pre-order from catalogs BEFORE they come out…so we are showcasing some of those items…
I needed 5 Thank You cards for the 5 families that helped us move. This was perfect! I made a card out of each color!
Since all of my stuff is in boxes and containers, I was limited on my resources. My son and I made an even bigger mess trying to find my trimmer, clear blocks, adhesive, and a stamp set for the sentiment. I ended up finding all my Paper Pumpkins sooner and used a sentiment from the October 2016 kit. Yep…glad I keep them! Perfect for this card!
Since my punches are still in their Stamp-n-Storage holder which sits on my counter, I used the Story Label, the Daisy, Medium Daisy, and the Sprig punches to add embellishment to the card. I mixed up the colors a bit. I used the Story Label punch and punched it through the 2020-2022 In Color DSP and Heavy Whisper White cardstock.
Inside, I added some DSP to the side just to add some fun color.
I like how the cards turned out! What do you think?
